In May 2014, we started by addressing a global problem for Cisco Systems.  With a team of Certified Network Engineers and Software Developers, we have now set our sites on the many challenges faced by the operational technology (OT) network managers and operators within Industrial Automation operations.  Our focus being; engineering OT networks with best-practice design while mitigating cybersecurity vulnerabilities throughout.

We proudly call Canada’s Greater Toronto Area ‘home’. Our staff reside in the metro area as it has the right blend of technology based universities, Canada’s best tech sector eco-system, and major manufactures or industrial environments. Steel, automotive, food, and more are all manufactured within driving distance. Canada and the USA are easily accessible with direct flights to all major metro areas.

Rod Scotland, President, CEO / CTO

With over 2 decades with Cisco and finishing his career with Cisco as a National Architecture Strategy Lead, Mid-Market Solutions, Rod brings a unique and deep technical understanding to the Completely Managed team. His global relationships and impeccable reputation have been his calling card and key to the growth of Completely Managed.  Rod and his team have put Completely Managed on the map with invention of the Cisco Config To Order Portal (CTOP) and the success of the Xperience SmartKits and is the true champion in the development of LANAWARE.

Truly committed and believing in my personal compass, I decided to take hold of my entrepreneurial spirit to begin a new journey. In doing so I made the bold decision to depart from the company that I truly loved most of all, Cisco Systems. Please welcome Completely Managed.

Warren Tkachuk, VP Business Operations

Warren brings international business experience in business start ups and multinational corporations to the CM team.

His previous leadership positions in Sales and Marketing and executive roles in multiple IT projects are well suited for corporate growth. Warren adds additional value with his experience in finance and business funding.

Warren has served as the project executive on fibre infrastructure builds for a remote communities, built monthly recurring technology based companies with Canada / US scope, lead a global market research project for an expanding technology gaming company, and managed a multi-year industrial project for one of Canada’s largest rail carriers.

He holds multiple board positions and provides support to startup companies including a WBE certified diversity supplier.

Jamie Gauthier, VP Professional Services

With over 20 of field and direct customer experience, Jamie brings many of the pieces together for Completely Managed.  His relationships with customers and his internal teams are enviable and his energy and logic are invaluable to the our success. Jamie manages the Engineering, Field Services, and many of the end-customer relationships.

The Advisory Team

David De Abreu

David De Abreu is an accomplished business executive with experience in IT, Telecommunications and XaaS, with a proven track record of dramatically increasing sales, team effectiveness and operational accountability. Dave possesses an influential leadership style combined with mentoring style that emphasizes responsibility and accountability, he thrives on developing people to achieve their full potential. He has held senior roles at Roger Communications, Cisco Systems, Bell Canada NCR and CIBC. Dave has acted as an advisor to the Completely Managed leadership team since the company was started.

Todd Madgett, Global Client Director, Cisco

A 19 year Cisco veteran, in his current role as a global Client Director, Todd is responsible for one of Cisco’s largest global distributors in the Global Partner Operation. The Global Partner Operation is collaborating with all segments of Cisco’s business and a cornerstone of its Perform and Transform partner strategy.

Todd was previously the Vice Chair of Cisco Canada’s Social Responsibility Initiative and Executive Sponsor of the Small Business Executive Exchange. The SBEE is a successful Cisco Corporate Advisory Board that worked to grow and evolve the channel model and partner profitability in US and Canada

Since joining Cisco in 1999, Todd has held several sales positions in the Channel Operations, Commercial, Service Provider, and Enterprise sales groups. Prior to joining Cisco, Todd worked at Westcon Canada, where he was National Sales Director supporting the service provider market. He also held several sales positions at Bell Canada.

In addition to be a supporter of Cisco’s Connected North Initiative, Todd is also active in his community supporting youth sports and development.

John Riley

John serves as an Advisor to Completely Managed with a focus of defining and creating the infrastructure and features of the LANAWARE technology. In a number of roles, John has been responsible in the creation of various technologies, and subsequently go to market strategies working directly with industry leaders such as Cisco, EMC, Microsoft and AWS. With over 30 years of technical and business experience with a number of industries and technologies, John brings a unique and broad experience to the table. John is passionate about technology and its possibilities, examining trends to understand subtle and disruptive market shifts.

Joe Deklic

Joe Deklic is a Canadian Business executive with over 30 years’ experience in the IT industry, 20 years of which at the board or senior leadership level. Joe Is the Head of Sales for Check Point’s Strategic Accounts and Federal Government business. Prior to his tenure at Checkpoint, Joe served as a VP of Sales Operations for Rogers Communications EBU in Canada where he was responsible for all Enterprise Pricing, Deals and all Sales Operations. Before Rogers Deklic spent 20 years at Cisco Canada in roles such as Cisco Capital GM, CFO/COO, and VP Software Sales and Strategic Investment Group. Joe provides financial and operational strength to the Completely Managed team, as well as contributions to deal structure and industry expertise.

    With a significant software development, management and global hosting agreement with Cisco Systems USA, Completely Managed began its first chapter of the story.  Today, Cisco CTOP is re-branded and operated behind Cisco.com and is the global platform used by partners to order the Cisco unified communications portfolio. We are especially proud to note that thanks to Rod and our team, this global Cisco offer was born and raised right here in Canada!

  • Engineering Flourishes

    As our reputation with past products continued to earn CM recognition, the Engineering requirements followed.  It is during this era that CM truly developed into an Industrial Network focused organization.  The engineers added to the team were groomed for OT immediately upon their introduction to the CM family.  This business continues to grow with national projects.
