SmartKit Ordering Process

Custom-engineered by Completely Managed Inc.

SmartKits are not off-the-shelf solutions. Each unit is engineered from the ground up to meet your exact requirements. From product placement and mounting, to shelving and feature layouts, every detail is measured, secured, and designed with a full 360° consideration process. For this reason, SmartKits are rarely—if ever—reused from previous designs.

Step 1: Concept Discussion

We begin with a collaborative discussion to understand your needs and objectives.

• Define the purpose of the SmartKit.

• Outline required hardware and software features.

• Specify device makes, models, and integrations.

Our team will assist in drafting a clear requirements scope to ensure nothing is missed.

Step 2: Design & Pre-Engineering

Completely Managed Inc. prepares a detailed Design Scope with clear objectives and criteria. This stage includes:

• A wireframe representation of your SmartKit.

• CAD and engineered component layouts.

• Mounting locations and design considerations for each piece of hardware.

Important: This step does not yet include manufacturing. It is a pre-engineering phase, providing you with designs, specifications, and a breakdown of costs and conditions required to proceed with production.

Step 3: Placing the Order

Once the Design Scope is approved, you can formally place your order. This stage finalizes:

• The agreed-upon design and specifications.

• Required quantities and configuration options.

• Pricing, terms, and conditions.

Step 4: Production & Delivery

Your SmartKit is manufactured precisely to the specifications outlined in Step 3.

• Materials are sourced, engineered, and assembled.

• Production timelines vary based on design complexity and component availability.

• Typical turnaround: 8–10 weeks from the order date (exact timelines are confirmed during the proposal process).
